About the Project
How it begin?
We started this project in 2009. The main goal is to help families in need, students, disabled, hearing impaired, the elderly including those retired.
Helping Hands Project also partners with local churches to help organize and provide financial support events such as Children’s VBS and Women’s Conferences.
What is the need?

God Multiplied the Sacrifice
This month began with 11 girls moving into our girls’ home.
A few days later, we organized an evangelistic concert for our church featuring the Romanian band Cristocentric.
I have had it on my heart to share a testimony with you about how God provided.
Last spring, my pastor approached me and asked if our Helping Hands project (a branch of Mission Possible Moldova) could help the church organize an outdoor concert with the goal of reaching the lost in our city of Bălți.
We estimated the budget would be between $2,000 and $3,000.
The band we invited, Cristocentric, never asked for a fee. They simply said they would gratefully receive whatever blessing we were able to give. Since they traveled more than 1,000 kilometers to be with us, we felt that $2,000 would be an appropriate amount to cover their expenses and provide a blessing.
However, this September we received less than half of the funding we needed for the month, so setting aside $2,000 was a significant sacrifice. Then, three days after the concert, a sponsor visited the Beauty for Ashes girls’ project, and God placed it on his heart to donate $4,000.
My heart was overwhelmed with gratitude and joy. God had not only provided what we needed for the month, but He had also doubled the sacrifice we made to support the Christian group we invited. Once again, He reminded me that when I obey and give what He places on my heart—even when it requires sacrifice—He always gives back far more than what was given.
Be encouraged today. If God is prompting you to support a special cause, but you are unsure how you will cover your own expenses, trust Him and do what He is asking you to do. As you give, watch how God provides in ways you could never imagine.
As David said, “I will not sacrifice to the Lord my God burnt offerings that cost me nothing” (2 Samuel 24:24).
Visiting a widow
Visiting a widow from our church, Sora Liuda, with our girls and adolescents. We brought her some groceries and sang some songs and our girls gave her a word of encouragement. Reminding her she is not alone, but God is with her!
Spring 2026
The importance of visiting the sick.
Teaching the girls the importance of visiting the sick. Our girls went to visit brother Stopa who is battling cancer. Him and his wife are both hearing impaired. We brought them some groceries and prayed with them for healing.

Autumn 2025
This past week, we hosted an amazing seminar called “The River”
Organized by speaker Phil Hulks from England. We had an amazing team from Highworth Community Church in England come help Phil and us organize this event. Leaders, pastors, servants, missionaries, and our church was very blessed by this event.
We were encouraged, refreshed and reminded why God loves the prodigals so much!
